Belgian Band ‘Hooverphonic’ in Zagreb for One Concert as Part of Their European Tour!
Since their formation in 1996, the Belgian band Hooverphonic has been blending trip-hop with pop and multi-layered elements. After a six-year break, they are returning to Zagreb as part of their European tour! With a significant fan base across Europe, the band will perform at Boogaloo Zagreb on the night of April 19. The concert is part of the tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their legendary album The Magnificent Tree, which includes the unforgettable “Mad About You.” Hooverphonic will be joined on stage by a four-piece string orchestra during the shows.
Hooverphonic is a band that loves to step outside the norm. For over 25 years, they have perfected their unique and instantly recognizable sound. Alex Callier (songwriter/producer) and Raymond Geerts (guitarist) have been the backbone of the band since day one. They’ve worked with a wide range of talented singers, and since the fall of 2020, they’re thrilled to be reunited with the iconic voice of Geike Arnaert.
Hooverphonic is also well-loved in Turkey for their hits such as “2Wicky,” “Eden,” “Mad About You,” “Anger Never Dies,” “Amalfi,” “Badaboum,” and “Romantic.”
